Governor Pawlenty speaks at Evangelical Leaders Forum

On April 21 the Governor was the keynote speaker at the GMAE Evangelical Leaders Forum.

200 evangelical pastors and church leaders were on hand for GMAE's bi-annual event. The event is made possible by membership fees from churches and contributions by individual donors. (See more photos and read more)

The board of World Relief Minnesota is searching for an Executive Director to fill the role being vacated by Patricia Fenrick. A search committee has been formed to identify a candidate with a strong background in faith-based social service leadership combined with a successful track record working alongside church-based ministries. Few Evangelicals Have Contact with Muslims

The NAE's survey of Evangelical leaders found that only 1/3 have had meaningful interaction with a Muslim. Islam is a major world religion and it has a growing influence in global issues, and yet very few Americans - American Evangelicals particularly - know much at all about Islam. (Read the story).

Evangelical Leaders Forum  

GMAE hosted Dr. Gushee at it's fifth Evangelical Leaders Forum on October 2. He spoke about Holistic Christianity and our Mission in American Culture and then answered question from the audience ranging from how to engage young adults, the Christian responsibility to vote. Listen to Q&A session.

Church Attendance is Declining: The American Church in Crisis

Author David Olson was the keynote speaker at GMAE's Evangelical Leaders Forum on May 1. He reported on his research that shows the American Church is losing ground, but also offered promising ideas of how to revitalize local churches.
