Mission & Vision

Our VISION is a network of churches and Christian leaders working together to transform lives, families and whole communities.

The MISSION of GMAE is to be a catalyst for evangelical cooperation to further the gospel of Jesus.

GMAE is a regional association of evangelical churches and organizations and focuses on 4 key functions:

• Connect evangelicals to each other.
• Communicate ideas and information to each other.
• Lead and initiate collaboration.
• Support program activities and compassion ministries.

HISTORY

GMAE formed in 1965 as local pastors began praying together, working to meet the needs of people in their community and uniting their voice on issues of the common good. During the prior decade the National Association of Evangelicals had helped to initiate networks of evangelical pastors, and GMAE continues today as a member of the NAE.
