Reconciliation

ct09 x 590Coming Together is an initiative of GMAE in collaboration with local congregations to equip leaders of intercultural congregations, and to offer training conferences and resources for lay leaders, congregations and faith-based organizations from a Biblical perspective of culture, race and reconciliation.

Just as global Christianity is shifting away from the West to the south and the East, so too is the North American church diversifying in terms of race, ethnicity and culture.

GMAE’s Reconciliation Pastors Cohort is a leadership network of senior pastors and key associates from congregations that are committed to leading multiracial and multicultural — commonly called intercultural — congregations.

The cohort steering team includes:

Rev. Anne Vining, First Covenant Church, St. Paul
Carl Nelson, GMAE
Dr. Curtiss DeYoung, Bethel University
Rev. Efrem Smith, Sanctuary Covenant Church
Rev. Jin S. Kim, Church of All Nations
Rev. Jim Olson, Bethel Christian Fellowship
Rev. Jon Kramka, Northwest Conference (Evangelical Covenant Church)
